It's pronounced, "Bill Snow dot com," pal, not "bills now dot com."

 My Qualifications

Education

BS in Finance, DePaul University, 1989

MBA in Entrepreneurship, DePaul University, 1994

Professional Certifications

NASD Series 7 and 63

Experience

Over 15 years experience, mostly with entrepreneurial, rapid growth, and start up companies. These include Movie Gallery (NasdaqNM: MOVI) now the third largest video retailer in the US; Train Reinforce Inspire, a provider of motivational and inspiration services and a spin-off from Successories (OTCBB: SCES); DigiByte, an encryption and digital compression technology company; and Vcapital, a venture funded on-line exchange linking entrepreneurs with venture capital. My roles have included management, finance, operations, sales, and administration.

I am active with various Chicago-area entrepreneurial groups, including the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, the Illinois Coalition, the Technology Executive’s Club, the Midwest Entrepreneur’s Forum, and DePaul University’s PEN Symposium.

Since 2003, I have been engaged in a number of projects, including, but not limited to: Director of Finance and Operations for In-Pipe Technology Company, a venture funded wastewater treatment company; Advisory Board Member for Mobile MoneySaver; Acting CFO for First Salvage, Inc., an idea stage company that provides solutions for auto insurance companies; host of professional networking events; author of Venture Capital 101; columnist for ePrairie; event participant and general raconteur for groups including but not limited to DePaul University's PEN Symposium, the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, the Illinois Coalition, Technology Executive's Club, the Midwest Entrepreneur's Forum; and my specialty, which happens to be my pro bono work, a sounding board, cranky idealist, and straight shooter for innumerable early stage company and idea stage entrepreneurs.

Prior to 1994, I held a series of fun jobs that all people in their early and mid 20's should hold: I bounced at a Halsted Street bar (yeah, that was me who took away your fake ID), did a short stint selling insurance, and did a long stint at Steppenwolf Theater as Group Sales Manager, where the low pay was compensated by meeting a lot of famous people who promptly ignored me.

Professional Affiliations and Sundry Other Things

In other words, you can call these different organizations and they'll say nice things about me (maybe).

People in certain quarters have suggested I write a book. They were even so kind as to provide a mock up of the book cover

Musicianship

Given my prowess with the guitar, some people have suggested I record an album.  They were so kind as to provide the mock up of the album cover.  Bill Snow's Flying Elvis will be released in a few months.  Stay tuned.

Those who fail to adhere to this condition of use will be harangued, and perhaps photographed in an unflattering light with said photo displayed in the Pictures section...with snappy comments, too. Those without a sense of humor and those who think too highly of themselves should leave this site immediately. Flaming balls of psychoses are cautioned to limit their exposure to Bill Snow. Take a deep breath, remind yourself we live in a free society where people are allowed to express their opinions. Refrain from going flippo. Remember, your problems are exactly that: your problems. Don't think you can make your problems my problem. I really don't care. As Frank Sinatra said during the monologue on his stellar "Live From the Sands" album, "A friend in need is a pest." Just kidding about that!
