Experience

I am an M&A engagement manager with Kinsella Group, an investment banking and business advisory boutique. I assist business owners in the sale of their companies or in the acquisition of other companies. I’m the one who contacts the buyers, negotiates and structures deals, oversees the due diligence, works with the attorneys to draft the purchase agreement, and ultimately gets the deal across the finish line.

 

I’ve advised companies in the the following industries: food processing equipment, drink dispensing equipment, marketing services, guarding, cleaning, staffing, apparel distribution, medical data marketing, telecommunications, and systems integrators.

 

I have over 20 years experience, often as a manager or owner, in industries ranging from retail to venture capital to consulting to data encryption to waste water processing.  And more.

BS and MBA from DePaul University.

Other

I wrote and self published an ebook called Venture Capital 101 and I wrote a few columns for Vcapital and ePrairie (also posted somewhere on this website).

 

I’ve been involved with groups including the Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center, the Illinois Coalition, the Technology Executive’s Club, the Midwest Entrepreneur’s Forum, and DePaul University’s PEN Symposium.

 

And I even host the rare and occasional but extremely valuable networking event.
