The Present
I am an investment banker with Kinsella Group, a Chicago-based boutique investment bank. I advise business owners in the sale of their companies or in the acquisition of other companies. My focus is selling lower middle market companies (approximately $10 million to $250 million in annual revenues) or helping larger companies make acquisitions of lower middle market companies. I've represented buyers and sellers in industries including business services, data marketing, distribution, food and drink equipment, marketing services, guarding, clearning, staffing, and telecommunicatons.
I’m the one who contacts the buyers, negotiates and structures deals, oversees the due diligence, works with the attorneys to draft the purchase agreement, and ultimately gets the deal across the finish line.
Transactions include:
Sell-side advisory:
* Sold a $40M drink equipment company to a PE back competitor
* Sold a $35M clothing distributor to a PE back competitor
* Sold a $20M marketing services company to a privately held tradeshow exhibition services company
* Sold a $9M data marketing company to a publically traded Canadian company
